The Golf Scientist

Step 1: Take a golf tee and make sure the point is always facing behind you if you are a right-handed golfer and in front of you if you are left-handed at golf.

Step 2: Stretch your hands out wide on the backswing and don’t move your head and then get the club head to where your shoulders are on shoulder level.

Step 3: Point your wrist in front of you and also rotate your knees and then your hips and hold that lag until your wrists are in line with your hips.

Step 4: Next throw the club head down feeling and then stretch your hands through and don’t cast your wrist. In golf that takes away power. Don’t hold lag because you don’t have any speed.

Step 5: Look at the target and get the club shoulder height again club head to the left if you are left-handed and the opposite if you are right-handed that is how you swing like me and my irons I take it a little shorter to where the club head is 1/3 about of what it was, so just do the same thing just count to 3. For my grip, I like to do the interlock grip so point like a gun shape then do a double stack thumbs up interlock where you pointed together and I hold the grip pressure about a 7 per hand I recommend holding loose enough your not tense. And not super loose either just find a grip pressure you like and I recommend looking up the interlock grip properly or find another grip you like that you want.

Step 6: To Release lag just feel like your hands are moving super fast like you are throwing the club in the last second when you rotate your hips and have lag. Don’t try to hit the ball hard because it gets you tense and you loose lag. I recommend working on for power lag don’t sway, don’t cast either.

Step 7: Work on eating healthy and being flexible.

The SuperSpeed golf training aid is great for helping my club speed in golf but it is super expensive but I say it is worth it because it helps it just takes time.

I recommend to warm up before a tournament. If you stretch, do it before you hit range balls and then chip and putt and then go to the driving range and start with wedges and work your way up to a driver. Do not over do the balls so you don’t get too many blisters if you rush.

I recommend take your time and pick a flag or target on yardages and tell yourself, “I’m playing good. I’m going to play like a PGA Pro”.

Remember always do more short game shots than driving range balls and get plenty of balls before a tournament. Balls don’t make a huge difference but they make a little difference when they are more expensive and new in good shape.

Eating healthy will also help your game. Always drink a lot water when you need or not.  It is ok to do sweets and chips in moderation. Just like anything, do not over do it. I recommend for sugar eating a lot of fruit. If you want something to drink besides water, I recommend Body Armors,  Danables yogurt drinks, and tea. A little stevia or sugar is ok if you don’t over do it.

Remember to always rake the golf bunkers if you dig your feet in the sand or take a divot and put sand in the divots if you have sand in your golf carts. If not, pick up the grass and cover the hole up.

If you try your best to play good and have fun with a good attitude, you will play good more. Remember nobody is perfect at golf because it is a hard game and it is a game where some days you do horrible. It feels like just as much as you do good for me a bad day is anything above 49 in 9 holes. If I break 100, I am pretty happy out of 18 holes. That’s not bad if are an amateur golfer. For most people for keeping up with your handicap in golf, I recommend using apps so it is easier to do. You just have to find an app or website and sign up.

I like to have Electrolytes in my drinks sometimes. Also I recommend eating balanced like you divide a plate in to 1/7
and do some dairy, a lot of vegetables and fruit, some bread and sugar and carbs in moderation if you feel good. Don’t overdo food coloring and gluten. Remember to have protein, a little fat and plenty to drink like milk, water, tea, almond milk (if you like it). Dark chocolate and jerky is a good healthy snack. For breakfast, I recommend eggs, bacon, French toast, toast, pancakes, waffles or yogurt.

I recommend Hamburgers with or without the bun any toppings and BBQ.

I like to recommend if you want to be healthy eat hamburger and hotdogs without the bun. Either way with or without the bun is healthy in moderation unless you are on keto diet.

The best putting tip I have is remember aim your eyes and go count to 25 or 75 in your head.  Do the same feeling as chipping and putting just balanced weight in putting.

Foods that are not that healthy but they ok in moderation; ice cream, Oreos, artificial sweeteners, stuff like gum and gum balls, food coloring, candy like milk chocolate, snow cones and just stuff full of sugar like also S’mores and chips with food coloring in moderation.  Stuff like Voodoo chips taste great and they are healthy enough and Cheetos and Doritos are ok in moderation.

I don’t recommend over doing electronics like Tv 📺 but it is also ok in moderation.

Good golf training aids are SuperSpeed golf rods golf, impact ball liners to make it easier to put a line on a ball, golf tees in the correct size, alignment sticks, good golf clubs in good conditions if you buy them used.

Golf putting mats and nets to practice inside to be good when the weather is cold 🥶.

I recommend lifting weights also in moderation and trusting the Lord And God – Jesus so he can help you through stress and confidence if you feel angry at how you are playing or if you feel bad or sad about something.

Practice in golf you can get better but you have to change stuff up some and learn and you have to do it correctly with a good attitude.

The wind in your face makes the ball not roll as far, same as the rain and mud and when the wind is in you back it helps it go farther, draws in golf roll farther than fades and a straight shot no different in the roll and the wind if blows left to right it increases the chance to go that way same in the opposite direction.

In golf, pick the good club choices and learn the best club number for the yardage is very important.

Some people want to know when you can pull the golf flag out, it’s when your feet are on the green and nobody else is on there. Once you pull it and hit the ball, the rule is to make it pulled leaving it out until it goes in or the flag in on the putt until it goes in.

Remember the cart path only rules when it is super wet. Always ask them if you get a lot of rain if you are wanting to follow more rules whoever gets the best score is supposed to tea of first unless they want you to go ahead. That is called ready golf always.

Make sure you got plenty of tees and balls and water.

When you practice and do not hold people up playing on the one hole when there is people behind you and if you almost hit them on the head yell, “fore” because it sounds like your yelling forward.
