The surgery is only painful at night when you are laying on a pillow and the IV is a little painful. It’s the same feeling as the first surgery besides when you’re asleep. I would say the first surgery is worse you have to take some pain medicine if you need it. I took like 3 medicines plus Tylenol.
The nurses spoil you giving you fun things to snack on. You have to go a while without walking to go to the bathroom and it hurts to be peeing.
They’re going to wrap the scars up when you do the surgery.
My device was implanted on the right side to hopefully stop all of my seizures. Then you need to go without a month of it being turned on.
So happy the surgery went pretty well! And thankful you updated us reading.
I bet it will be hard waiting to turn it on but hang in there and fingers crossed it helps your epilepsy!
I’m so thankful your surgery went well. Praying 🙏 for this to be a HUGE help. I love your blog and your photos. It’s a great way for us to understand about your surgery and try to understand what you’ve had to endure.
You are such a brave warrior! I can’t wait to see you as a pro golfer one day. 💕
I hope you are able to get some rest and relief. Thanks for sharing your perspective.
You are looking good! It’s really good to see and hear from you so soon after the surgery. We are continuously praying for this surgery to be a success. I know it’s hard to keep being patient, but you can do it. We are proud of you and love you lots!
I’m so proud of you! You are facing all this so good! I will pray for God to use this to stop the seizures.
